I feel your pain, here in Cozumel, we host the black sheep relatives of your neighbors. This year husband and I have a bet that all the christmas shlock doesn’t come down before the rains take it down in April.

For years my daughter and I have referred to a house a block away as the “Griswolds”. There is not a spot on the house or in the yard that is not lit up. In additional many of the yard decorations are tacky, tacky, tacky. At least they don’t play music or maybe I just have not heard it since I usually only pass that house in my car.

Mercifully, we have very little Christmas schlock in our neighborhood. It can be hard to find your Christmas spirit here in the tropics. We have kids, so, like it or not, Christmas is coming to my house!

Wow!!! That is bad. I definitely can relate. Not here in Tulum. But when we lived in SF we had some pretty bad ones too. I hope it gets better. Or that this is some strange electrical failure on their house alone.
