I know exactly what you mean because as I was celebrating my 29th a few months ago, I was already setting up goals and thinking of what kind of person I’m going to be in a year when I turn 30.

I think it has nothing to do with age, but with milestones instead. I’ll probably spend my 30th relaxing and just chilling with hubby as well….. but I’ll be thinking of all that I accomplished and became during the previous decade and wondering how it will be during the next.

So happy 40th and here’s to many many many more!!

I know what you mean about mixed money. Saturday is B’s birthday. I’m taking him to dinner, but since our money is as one, who’s really paying? Is it really a gift? Oh well, at least it’s dinner out!

Heather, somewhere along the line I think I got a bit addicted to beta endorphins, so now running is a crutch. And don’t think I’m a great runner, I’m slow as syrup. If I don’t run 3 or 4 days a week I get depressed, so it’s easier to do it than not do it.

It’s wonderful when you can feel relaxed, comfortable, and happy, looking forward to another excellent year.

And running into it is a great double-entendre!
