I agree that it is the most lucrative way to make a living here. But I'm finding it hard to learn the ropes, so many things go wrong that I feel all I learn is what not to do. That's a familiar story. My personal favorite is when sellers refuse to pay any cap gains. Real Estate here is very trying but ultimately the best way to make $$$ here. With three kids to feed, clothe and educate what else is there? Oh, and of course we build our own condos too... just to make our lives more complicated. That's a whole other set of craziness!! I'm pretty burned out on real estate right this minute, but we shall see. In the end this one broke down because the seller simply wanted more money, agree to one price, then change your mind and up the price...sound familiar? Thanks for the encouragement. Unethical practices? Say it ain't so!! I sympathise with you. We've had so many deals fall apart and I know how frustrating that is.
